I’ve been flying for several years with the GO4 app. No issues. I purchased the MA2 and am now using the FLY app. The font is so small, I can’t even read how much battery I have left. There is no contrast to help see any of the writing. What in the world is the reasoning behind this? It’s hard enough trying to see the screen with the bright sun. It’s horrible!
Dji, give us an update and allow us the ability to change the contrast and font size!
 
Same here I don’t care for the app at all. At least this last
update moved all from the screen to the outside.
Wish it had better features like the compass as well as several others.
 
I agree, the Fly app design is very poor for use on a phone and barely useable on a 8" tablet. The fonts and icons are far too small to get information at a glance. As it is the app is unsafe because you need to spend too much time looking for the tiny data. Does DJI not understand that not everyone has the eyes of a 20 year old! Other companies have far better designed screen sized data.

i agree on these points and the 100+ likes that this posting has received tells me that there are many others who experience the same difficulties. is there a way for us to communicate these issues with DJI in hopes that they can make an update to resolve?

You could go to the DJI forums but i’m sure this has been discussed already. Also have you ever tried talking to a rock?
 
I waited six years looking at drones from the Fimi x8 se to Zino2 and earlier. I didn't want to spend $800 for my first drone although I have flown RC for years. Once the MA2 was announced with its specs I was very interested. I bought mine after reviewing YouTube and forums on the MA2 and although there is room for some improvements I do not regret my purchase. I have enjoyed flying this drone from day one. Retired Engineer.

I completely agree especially the blue hot text on black background, a horrible choice. I did my PhD in human color vision and there is plenty of data supporting that.

I sent them an email. Got a reply that their repair facility in CA. Was closed! Didn’t mention anything about a repair.
Rock emailed ya back.?

I agree. Great drone. Hard to read info on phone though.

Goes to show the degree of care on their part... Insulting, they didn't even bother to read.

I was thinking, maybe there are some tech-savvy people who can replace a couple of bytes in the Fly app and change the font size, background or both, as it looks like we can't rely on DJI to do this simple thing.

I concur! That is a ( Mod Removed Language) good idea! Then the old farts like me, wont be losing their new toys, lol, and the forums will be empty. I too am finding the need for reading glasses when fatigued. Someone buy this man a drink!
