The part where he is flying over the birds surly can’t be a good thing (legality aside).

It's strange they didn't flush up at all.

I don't think it's a good idea because any one of those birds could have spooked and taken flight directly in front of the UAS but from a legal standpoint the birds didn't pay it much attention.

I give him props for "SAFE" editing. He obviously flew out over the road at least partially but he stopped the video before it actually showed it. Well played LOL!.

You have to ask, where do people out their common sense at times? Maybe, being so low and fast he caught those geese unaware on the first pass but to come back again????

Common sense isn’t so common.

While that flying may have been legal, flying that close to Canadian Geese was a dumb risk to take. Geese and aircraft don't play well together. Just ask Captain Sullenberger about the geese..

They must have been tired on their migration to the south. When they are camped up here for the summer with goslings around they are some cantankerous critters. They'll beat the crap out of anything that comes close.

Yeah, that and the 5 lbs mosquitos in Canada.

The pilot is flying a small FPV drone. The geese probably thought they were being buzzed by a bird. Not a one moved in the water and no panicked movements at all. I’m a little surprised by that. They scurry away on the golf courses. Wish they would find other places to graze. The goose pies are horrendous!

Ya ever notice when the geese are flying overhead one side of the "V" is shorter than the other?? Well do you know why??

I have footage of geese I was following around when I first got my MA2. Stayed far enough away and did not "buzz" them. Their sentries were alert and watching the drone though.

Also, this guy is violating at least one rule...VLOS. POV drones require an observer. Don't see one in any of his vids.
