Mavic Pro or Mavic Air 2?

You should get the Air 2 , there is just to much good stuff going on with that drone.
DJI has a way of forgetting about past drones and that one is past .

What is included with it. Like more than 1 battery or what. Do you know all the history ,seen it fly or what.

Hate to disagree with you but the MP is still a great bird and wish I
had never sold mine. I believe there are plenty of MP owners here
that will agree with me. Yes updates stop but have with about all
their drones .Air 2 seems from what all I’ve read a great drone
and not knocking it and will have one to experiment with like I did the Mini. Had the Air had came out or knew it was coming out I would have gotten that one Instead of the Mini.

There is absolutely no case to be made that the original Mavic Pro is a better drone than the Mavic Air 2.

I didn’t say it was just it’s still a good drone and the Air is WiFi and believe after all those I’ve had I do know something about them.
Don’t start on something that wasn’t said.

One case may be the difference between the go4 app and the fly app, so absolute may not apply.

Hadn't thought about that as the Fly App stinks as far as i am concerned compared
to Go but still remains my question on just was the deal he had on the MP.
Depending on what he wants to use it for and if the thing had good battery life left in them and were several and whatever else.

I can make plenty of cases for the Mavic Pro to be better than the Air 2.

Probably has never flown an mp. Me, I’ve not done the air2 thing. It was off my list as soon as I found out the fly thing was involved. Still not flying the mini just for that reason.

Guys lets wait till the OP comes back and tells us what i have asked already and not get into a heated debate on which is better. For that money we really don't know what to tell him
other than what has been posted.

The Mavic Pro is still comparable to the MA2
Camera is actually sharper on the older drone, flight specs are about the same in the real world
MA2 has strayed away from the design parameters where it was supposed to be a more compact drone and easier to carry, LOL they are almost the same size now.

DJI never keeps it's promises, when there is no financial gain for it
I suspect they will release a new version of the SC

Of course ... my point though is that the Air 2 isn’t better in every way. There’s still things the MP does better. Plenty the Air 2 does better also; it’s not a clear cut answer. That’s all.

And I doubt I’ll ever see compatibility with my DJI Goggles (original) or FT Aviator for the Air 2. Will be pleasantly surprised when the SC finally works with it (that’s promised but... when?)

For now, the M2P is scratching my itch. New enough to have lots of the goodies; but old enough to work with the rest of my ecosystem.

Absolutely i agree. Also M2P is the King here. I have both drones and the only advantage from MA2 over M2P is: Enhanced Occusync2, the difference is very noticeable, 4K/60FPS, AirSense (but not a killer) and Tracking 3.0 that works amazing.

The rest in every aspect M2P is the best drone.

All cool here. For be honest for less than $550 i will get the MP, you can find parts easy and cheap.

I have both. MP is still a great drone with sharper photos and I can still fly it with my CrystalSky. Handles better too especially since the MA2 changed the yaw and took the fun out of freestyle flying.
