Mavic Pro 2 Crashed

Hello,

I lost my Mavic Pro 2 yesterday and I was wondering if you could help me to understand what happened.

Thank you.
This is most probably a sudden power loss due to a battery failure ...

Up there high at 472m height the battery stopped to report data at 216sec into the flight (where the marker in the chart is) ... after that all battery data flat lines & doesn't report anymore. No abrupt movements was made in the very end, you mainly hovered & yawed around & neither AC pitch, roll or yaw show anything special ... then the log ends.

Yeah, but if I remember correctly... in your case everything was normal, the telemetrics & the battery data didn't indicate anything before the log ended. When this happens it's normally due to a ejected battery and nothing can be retrieved from the log... hence DJI say that nothing can be said out from the log.

But in this case it's clear that the battery stops reporting... then the log ends. This can possibly make DJI take more responsibility...

Do you guys just forget about the drone and not even go look for it?

I hope so mate also remember DJI will not look at 3rd party software data it has to be there own, i tried to explain what was found out from the experts on here they would not look at it.

Sorry for your loss. It’s crazy that something that expensive can simply fall out the sky.

how many charges had the battery had?
did the battery look like it was starting to expand?
Was it a particularly cold day?
I’m trying to think of any pre flight checks others can to ensure this doesn’t happen to others.
move had my M2P for 18 months and have probably had 50 flights at this point and I’m worried this happen to me.

Sorry, to hear about you losing your Bird.
Wondering if flying missions with new batteries would be safer, especially when and if flying in wooded areas?

The battery had more than ten charges and it was a very hot day (32°C).
