I have set up a drone airport (is that the correct term?)
It is away from the menacing red circles but near enough a major population center (Toronto)
Is there a website to register the airport so enthusiasts can find me?

contact MAAC
they have fields and memberships all across Canada, membership also gives you 7,500,000 liability insurance when flying your personal drone
you may be able to add your field to their list

I also see you posted add on Kijiji
have you thought of the liabilities involved if someone were to get hurt on your property?
Your effort is admirable, but I would look into the legal ramifications before offering the general public access.
Best to affiliate with MAAC and at least get their insurance to cover you.

In Canada, outside Toronto
so AMA and FAA have no standing

Sorry about that. I didn't look at the airport, just saw "Georgetown" and made an assumption.

An incorrect one.

Whoa! Hold up there Torcan: Point of debate/question/understanding re MAAC: Please... be careful with announcing ' membership also gives you 7,500,000 liability insurance when flying your personal drone' . Do you consider your drone(s) a UAV ? If you do, read the insurance exemption on MAAC site.
quote: 'MAAC insurance provides cover for model aircraft as defined by Transport Canada and radio controlled models must also be flown in direct line of sight. Any other type of radio-controlled flying machine is classified as a UAV.
Our coverage does not extend to any type of UAV. '

ref: FAQ's / UAV's: go to MAAC - Insurance Advisory Group

Have since found out that the designation Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle 'UAV' is more an 'American' term whereas RPAS is Canadian (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) as used by Transport Canada. (I'm not making much headway here am I LoL) ie still wanting/needing to be 'insured' against catastrophy...
Homeowners' insurance for my hobby could be looked to for this coverage. Must do that... Look it up!

it is my understanding that drones are covered, from their site see pic of drone and also cropped pic of insurance coverage
as long as OP is member and he has his place as part of the MAAC family
that is the point I was trying to make

Bottom line is the OP was asking and promoting his property for Drone use.
I was letting him know that there is already extensive areas and places all across Canada with MAAC membership

He may wish to avail himself of their membership, and sponsorship of his property, lessening the legal burden he may have to deal with if something were to go wrong on his property since he is offering the general public a place to fly

Wow... Thanks for this.. I've written MAAC exec to see if they might update the wording on the website ...the one that states the insurance excludes 'any type of UAV'....

As a matter of interest for anyone wondering as to insurance with MAAC; I found the coffin nailed shut on 'free-flying' of drones under MAAC rules (outside sanctioned events) ...to wit: ' 5.5 (Re Multi-Rotor aircraft): All members shall fly in a manner that takes into account that multi-rotor models rely entirely on the lift generated by the propellers to remain airborne. Any interruption in power will therefore result in an immediate and uncontrolled descent. Multi-rotor models shall never be flown over any area where there is the possibility of injury to people or damage to property'.

First thing is to drop all references to “airport”. That is a specifically defined term in the CARs.
Secondly, talk directly to MAAC and ask for their advice as to how to achieve your aim.
Thirdly, read through *all* the MAAC safety documents - their website updates them and provides only the latest versions.
