Hood Shade

Ditto, me too. I ready to order a ipad mini but wanted to include the sunshade with it.

You just need to know the length of your screen in millimeters.

Is that the screen or the whole tablet?

With the tablet being 203mm long and the screen not going all the way to the edge I would think you'd want the 168mm size. With the 200mm size it won't have much of the tablet to hold onto. The top and bottom bezels are at least 15mm wide/tall each so the 168mm one should fit fine.

yes L168 is for an ipad mini 5

Quite easy to make a hood from foam board. Only cost $1.

This will not work properly. The front part needs to lean in 70 degrees. When the sun is above the screen will be reflecting your face.

The back face is at a 70° angle, the sides are also angled at 80°.

I’ve tried a bunch of shades. This is the best I’ve found. Called Sun Hood. It folds up flat and super easy to put on in 3 seconds.

How are people attaching a hood to their Controller or Tablet? sticky back velcro, or a friction fit?
