Fly more vs basic

I got the Fly More Combo. The extra batteries are the big thing for me. I usually fly two batteries when I go out. Initially, I thought the bag was a stupid design and wanted a case like the Mini Fly More Combo has. But going out and having the bag on you with easy access is very helpful.

FMC here.

What's worth it --- Extra batteries, Charging hub that doubles as a power bank

What I can do without --- Propeller guards (never used them so far), Bag (I ditched this and used my own)

And as others have mentioned...Batteries.

It's like you get a free battery verses buying them separate.

And of course a few other goodies too.

Plus extra batteries are usually impossible to buy individually for months after release. I've had to buy extra fly more kits to get them!

You get a lot for the extra money. The fly more combo here is $1899. The normal MA2 is $1499. The MA2 batteries are $199 so for an extra $400 for the combo you pay for the extra batteries them get everything else on top of that like bag, charger, filters etc. If you added it all up it's a lot more than $400.

My A2 FMC didn’t come with propeller guards, but the Mini did.

I actually purchased some for the MA2 since they didn't come with it.

Sixteen bucks for peace of mind is cheap.

I'm a Hoosier too living near Indianapolis.

I have read that when you get the combo pack, don't put all of the batteries on the charging sled for the first charge. It may brick the battery and DJI has warrantied them, but it's down time for you if you can't fly.

They are shipped in a hibernation state and need to "wake up" and possibly updated.

Charging one battery at a time seemed to remedy the issue for the first charge.

After that they seem to be ok with putting all three in.
They will still charge one at a time, but you won't have to come back to change the battery in a couple of hours.

The battery tray for my Spark charges all three at once which I miss with the MA2, but the MA2 does have bigger batteries so I'm in no rush.

I was going to say, I didn't think the MA2 charging hub could double as a power bank. That was with the MM1 charging hub.

I believe that it can. There is an adapter with two USB-C ports that can plug into it. The post you were referring to was regarding propeller guards in the FMC package.

I went with the A2 FMC....

Also got my Air 2 in FMC.

Yeah FMC is a no-brainer. I have no idea how somebody can survive with one battery.

I bought the Fly More Combo. Definitely no regrets here. Highly recommended.

Just curious as to where you're living to purchase the MA2 fly-more combo for $1899? I paid way less in Canada.

Batteries and ND filters helped me decide on flymore. I tried the bag and didn't like it much. Luckily, I had a small Lowepro backpack I wasn't using which has just enough room for everything, and is easier to carry when biking.
