Has anyone received an update to the Fly app? I've not had an update notification from Google play yet, but it seems rollout has begun. Any interesting new features or improvements for MM owners, or is the update tailored more to the MA2?

Didn't even realise mine had updated (Google Pixel 2), but it did 2 days ago.
Haven't tried it yet but info states:-
Updtes the display logic for battery and flight time alerts.
Adds advanced gimbal settings (MA2 only)
Fixes app crashing issues and improves overall stability
Don't know any more than that I'm afraid, haven't flown this week

I think you've hit the nail on the head there, OMM. Lots of exciting updates that are only for the MA2, maybe to tempt us MM owners to upgrade ?
However, the MM is still the ideal drone for what I want and I'm quite happy with it, despite the slight economising of potential features.

@scro its the old horses for courses strategy ,just buy what you want from your drone and what you can afford to pay, and fly without worry ,they all fly the same way ,but just at different levels of sophistication ,and its fun to upgrade as you get into the hobby and realise you need more features
I updated the app for the mini.
So far I like the new battery display and plus it warns you when the battery is low

On the DJI Fly app, flight time ie elapsed time was dropped. Really don’t understand that. Now you don’t know how long you have been in the air during flight.

FYI, no gimbal changes ... unless you have a MA2?
Mine has updated via the Play store (I'm on android). I've just had a notification appear in the android notification tray from the new version of the app... DJI hints and tips on cinematic transition techniques. Maybe more to come?

This is an update to the app on your phone, not the aircraft firmware. The app update is getting rolled out over a period of a few days for Apple and Android so if it's not arrived for you yet it will do soon.
There is a chance the link labelled Fly v1.1.5 on the DJI site actually links to v1.1.6. Last time there was an update that happened.

in the APP Store go on purchased scroll down to the fly APP and it should say Update ,as i said its mostly for the MA2 but if you have the MM then you get the improved battery info which is very easy to see ,if you touch the icon and swipe down then it gives more info on the flight time etc
Did it the other suggestion. Delete old Fly then the new one pops up in App Store. Thanks.
