DJI Fly 1.2.0 Released

Why don't you update yourself automatically (Android)?
If you don't talk, I don't know about it ...

The QuickTransfer only appears to work for the Mini 2. There are slight differences in the notes for the Android version and IOS. The android specifically says only the compatible with the Mini 2 while the IOS versions says compatible.

Air 2 and original Mini users will not be getting any of those features.

Do you by any chance have updates switched off in google play?
Many would curse automatic updates, I am one of them, I get notifications that updates are available and that strikes me as a happy compromise.

Anyone take a flight with the new version, does it fix the Battery reporting issue being discussed when sending data to AirData??

Mine seems to be updated. Flew today, but don't know if that was before or after.

If you have auto-updates enabled, it could have been before you flew, but you never know till you go out again to be sure..

The question I have is whether they finally fixed that log data issue to Airdata for battery details which is noted in a few other threads of previous Fly Versions.

I checked, it was really forbidden! Thanks for the help!

I am the same. Notify me and I’ll update at my choosing.

I had some weird issues on my note 10 plus and my galaxy tab 6s lite. When I went to down load a batch it would not let me at all om both devices. I uninstalled and it then worked. Both both times when u go to albums and u can pick aircraft randomly it changes to Chinese or Japanese

I updated to 1.2.0 yesterday and then flew today and it appears that it caused my tablet to reboot midflight. Had to hit the RTH button. Once I got back in the house I checked for updates and there was another 20 meg update for 1.2.0. It did not change the app revision number though. It's still 1.2.0. Additionally, I was unable to upload my flight to Airdata. The flight is on my tablet but won't upload to Airdata. I haven't had a chance to fly after the additional update. I will update this after I do.

Was this IOS or Droid.... ? If Droid, there have been 3-digit build numbers I'd call them appended to the version #

Crap. I did forget to put that info in there. Android.

Yeah, somewhere in the app, that reports the version #, has some build # too.. seen some versions have had like 3 of them, but it always appears to be for Android.

Still wondering if the IOS version resolves the battery logging issue for Airdata, noted in some previous versions, getting conflicting reports on some previous versions where it seemed to work for some and not others, but it may have been the varying versions of Android and never really worked on IOS since V1.1.6. not sure...

Hmmmmm I put 1.2.0 on a new to me Samsung S6 today and took my mini for a test flight, I was testing the phone more than the app. My phone rebooted too but this was after I had landed.

Have you rechecked to see if there is an additional update available?

Got it thank you

as far as the IOS version is concerned i noticed two changes when i flew today the first one was how the app shows when the RC and device connect and then when the drone is started how the three of them are linked
then after checking whether i was on 2.4 or 5.8 WIFI i noticed that the setting was in auto and stayed in auto even after the app had been closed down between batteries ,before the update it would always return to manual upon start up
