I’m running windows 10 and downloaded dji ass2.
However when I go to run ur no I thing!!

Yes..
Dji assistant 2 will appear but when I plug into usb on laptop nothing..
I know the usb work cause I plugged my phone in and it recognized it..

Ok well it’s been so long since I did it and I use a iMac so think we might need a member that uses Windows to chime in.

If nothing else when I have had similar issues I have went in,deleted
then reinstalled.
I do that everytime I update the app. Habit.

Whatever device you're plugging into your PC has to be switched on for DJI Assistant 2 to recognize it. Can you confirm that you're doing this?

I loaded DJI assistant on windows pc. That part was easy. Had to update new SC. Had good set of instructions from Zeus. Main things were to keep WiFi off and delete all other files from SC before starting.

Yes the Mavic is on

Possibly a bad cord. ?‍

I’d still delete and reinstall the assistant before I tried anything
else.

It won’t hurt. I have had it to work with other programs. And being
no one else is chiming in yet ?

Make sure you are installing DJI Asst. 2 for Mavic...and not the other one!! DJI Assistant 2 For Mavic- DJI Download Center- DJI

Also try different usb port, and powering on drone after connecting everything (Asst 2 already on). Wife died so no Christmas for me, but going to bed...will check back tomorrow

You can verify the cable by noting if new storage devices appear when the AC is turned on and connected to the PC without Assistant running.

After verifying that, try running Assistant as administrator.

Check Device Manager for anything showing missing driver or malfunctioning driver. If anything shows up that doesn't appear with AC disconnected, try manually selecting to update driver.

I thought I read that DJi Assistant 2 will not work on a laptop or was that only the calibration?
