Check Your Settings After The New Update!!!

Best option is to check those settings prior to each flight. Not only to make sure it hasn't changed, but also to make sure it is appropriate for where you are currently flying.

I just checked my settings after updating. Everything was the same except for the lost signal setting. It reverted to descend from RTH.
Are you certain about that?
If true it's very unusual.
After au update it's normal to find some settings have changed, but they always revert to default settings.
And RTH is the default Loss of Signal option.

Im about 80% certain. This was the first setting I checked to make sure it was RTH when I got the drone. I have not checked it since, until today after the update. Im not sure if this had anything to do with it, but the first time I attempted the update my phone went straight into lock mode.

After the update, RTH after signal loss was my default setting. So no worries.

My apas was turned off after the update. Only saw it because I went looking for the new auto spotlight feature.

Checking settings before EVERY flight is what separates amateurs from Drone Flyers who take this hobby seriously.

Very true, it makes we wonder how many unexpected issues were a result of setting assumptions

Preflight checks of controller settings, phone and aircraft is a routine, reflex action for me. Would prefer to find any issues while still on the ground. This you learn from (bad) experiences. I've had my share and fewer now.
