bonnie Scotland - Loch Ness, Loch Lomand, Urquhart castle...

perfect length and music, a better perspective than I had on my 10 visits there while living in New Market, Suffolk, England. Cheers for posting and the editing effort. Well done.

Maybe off topic, but at the beginning the video says: there are only two seasons: June and winter.
Does that mean the best month to visit Scotland for having relative good weather is June?

Gorgeous scenery! Wife and I took a trip by canal boat a few years ago so I remember the castle well! I guess I'm surprised one can fly a drone over it. Well done!

Yes well it's just a joke about the weather being wintery for most of the year ? . If you are planning on visiting June/July/August would be the "warmest/driest" I'd guess but I wouldn't bet on it!

I just posted comment to the wrong person lol awesome awesome job very nice

Well done. I'd like to see you get closer to subjects, sweeping turns and more gimbal tilts. POI is a good way to achieve sweeping turns together with forward/back on right stick (spiral out/in). Gimbal tilts look best combined with elevation change. Increase elevation>tilt-down, decrease elevation>tilt-up. Start with the elevation, then use gimbal to maintain axis on the center point of rotation. It's easier to maintain axial relationship when accompanied by elevation change.

0:15 - Elevate and tilt down to turret (decrease forward travel)
0:23 - Same as above
1:08 - Start higher and further behind the couple with gimbal down (below horizon)>decrease elevation and gimbal tilt up to sweep over their heads to reveal the horizon.
1:16 - I see a hint of a sweep here, but if you could follow the landform ever so gently with a slight angular move with right stick, gentle yaw w/ left to maintain the distant peak in the center, it would be even more dramatic.

Make sure your gimbal settings are softened up and work on those sweeping turns following landforms. Yaw is the most challenging single movement to master with only the lightest touch on the left stick. I practice manual POI's for that reason. The most cinematic moves are in combination. If you can do a slight turn with gimbal tilt and elevation change, it's magic... but typically requires multiple takes!

When you view your footage in post, anticipate what you could/should have done to achieve a more dramatic move.

Thanks for this detailed feedback. There's some really good advice in here which I'll try to take on board.

Actually may is usually the best month on the West Coast. But that said.. there are no guarantees!
